Agnes M. Sutton

Agnes M. Sutton of Glasco Turnpike, Mt. Marion died Tuesday, January 16, 2007 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 74. She was born in Glasco on October 5, 1932, a daughter of the late Charles and Jennie Fay Staccio. Mrs. Sutton was a member of the Plattekill Reformed Church. Her husband Wilfred 'Bill' Sutton died April 7, 1999; one sister Margaret Nicoles, four brothers Michael F., Charles F., Philip and Joseph Staccio all died previously. Surviving are two daughters Debra Wood and her husband Richard of Kingston, Tammy Ackert and her husband Eugene of Mt. Marion; one son Robert Sutton and his wife Ann Marie of Saugerties; two sisters Bernice McCloskey and her husband Gerard, Mary Kaschel and her husband Uhland, both of Kingston; seven grandchildren Adam Wood, Elizabeth Wood, Robert Sutton, Alexa Sutton, Joseph Sutton Ackert, Rebecca Sutton and Jennyfay Ackert; many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the Plattekill Reformed Church, Old Kings Highway, Mt. Marion on Saturday at 1:00 PM. Rev. Thomas Goodhart will officiate. Interment will be in Mt. Marion Cemetery.
