Alejandro S. Ramos

Alejandro S. Ramos of Cole Bank Rd., Saugerties died Friday, August 7, 2009 at the Golden Hill Health Care Center. He was 99. He was born February 2, 1910 in the Philippines, a son of the late Lucas and Sigue Ramos. For many years, he was an electrical engineer for General Dynamics in Rochester, NY. He enjoyed watching sports. Surviving is his wife, Mary Trupo Ramos, one son, Ronald Ramos and his wife Joan of Woodstock; three grandchildren, Cathleen Ramos-Michalopoulos, Stephen Ramos, Craig Ramos and two great-grandchildren, Layla and Katia. He was predeceased by two brothers and five sisters. Funeral services will be conducted at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Tuesday at 4:00 PM. Fr. Frank Damis will officiate.
