Andrea M. DiSalvio

Andrea M. DiSalvio of Route 9W, Newburgh, died Thursday, November 4, 2010 at the The Kaplan Family Hospice House, Newburgh. She was 66. She was born in Manhattan, a daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Thorpe DiSalvio. Andrea spent summers in Milton and moved to Marlboro in the 1970's to raise her children. Formerly of Middlehope she recently moved to Newburgh. Andrea was a Certified Nurses Aid at the Northeast Center for Special Care for the past 6 years. Surviving are her daughter Andrea Moreno of Kingston, her son Saverio Moreno of Newburgh, her brother William Magilone of Marlboro and many dear friends and co-workers at the Northeast Center. A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday from 4:00 6:00 p.m. at Simpson Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. A memorial and candlelight service will be conducted at 5:30 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kaplan Family Hospice Residence, 1 Sunrise Lane, Newburgh, NY 12550.
