Angelo J. Sacco

Angelo J. Sacco, formerly of Rym Rock Road, Kingston, died Thursday, September 27, 2007 at his daughter's home in Lyman, South Carolina. He was 90. He was born in East Kingston on April 17, 1917, a son of the late Louis and Josephine Guido Sacco. For many years he worked at the Cabrini Home, West Park. He retired in 1982. A former resident of Rym Rock Rd., Kingston, Mr. Sacco moved to South Caroline in 2004. His wife Julia Amato Sacco died March 18, 1979. His second wife Margaret Merck Sacco and one sister Anna Mitchell both died previously. Surviving are two daughters Josephine Lamphere of Lyman, SC and Carol Sacco of Kingston; one brother John Sacco and his wife Teresa of New Port News, VA; two grandchildren Michael Lamphere and Lori Campbell and her husband Howard; one great grandson Michael Robert Campbell; several nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Monday 2-4 and 6-8 PM. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Tuesday at 12:00. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery.
