Anna E. Rose

Anna E. Rose of Mill Road, Olivebridge died Sunday, August 3, 2008 at Golden Hill Health Care Center. She was 81. She was born in Pacama on April 3, 1927 a daughter of the late Alvin and Julia Stephano Elliott. As a secretary, Mrs. Rose worked for 12 years at Kingston Coal Co., Kingston and then at I.B.M., Kingston for several years. Her husband Alfred Rose died March 3, 2002. One brother Ernest Elliott died previously. Surviving are two sisters Janice Moore and her husband Richard of Binghampton, and Bernice Elliott of Kingston; one brother Alvin Elliott and his wife Beverly of Lake Katrine; several nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Tongore Cemetery.
