Anna M. Tiano

Anna M. Tiano, of Kingston, died Thursday, October 11, 2007 at Golden Hill Health Care Center. She was born in East Kingston, a daughter of the late Frank J. and Lucinda H. Nardi Tiano. For 29 years, she was employed as an administrative assistant for the Kingston Schools Consolidated. She retired in 1994. She was a former member of St. Colman's Church and was active in the Altar-Rosary Society. Surviving are three sons, Thomas F. McGowan and his wife, Marie of Queensbury, Edward McGowan of Los Angeles, CA, Richard J. McGowan of Seneca Falls; a sister, Rose Anderson of Englewood, CO; two grandchildren, Sean and Dennis McGowan; one niece, Georgia Heiberger and a nephew, Robert Anderson Jr. A niece, Laurie Anderson died previously. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Sunday from 4 – 8 pm. A funeral procession will form on Monday at 9:15 am at the funeral home and process to St. Joseph’s Church for a 10:00 am funeral Mass. Burial will follow in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
