Anna Samec

Anna Banyo Samec, formerly of First Ave., Kingston died Monday, October 24, 2005 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 94. She was born in the Town of Ulster on August 3, 1911, a daughter of the late Julius and Rose Horvath Banyo. For many years Anna worked in the needle trade in the area garment factories. A parishioner of St. Mary's Church, Anna attended Immaculate Conception Church. Her husband Anthony, and two brothers Julius and John Banyo all died previously. Surviving are one brother Alexander J. Banyo of Town of Ulster; one sister Helen Vogt of Winter Park, Florida, several nieces and nephews. The funeral procession will form on Thursday at 9:30 AM from Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
