Anthony F. Augustine

Anthony F. Augustine of Richmond Parkway, Town of Ulster died Sunday, February 13, 2005 at his residence. He was 87. Born in Hillsville, PA on February 15, 1917, he was a son of the late Dominic and Teresa Gallo Agostino. Mr. Augustine was raised in Brooklyn and married Rose Mastrianna on August 31, 1940. They moved to Newburgh in 1948. He was a general manager at the Red Apple Restaurant in Tuxedo. In 1957 he moved to Sunrise Park, Town of Ulster and operated the Trailways Cafeteria, Broadway, Kingston. Mr. Augustine continued to work in the food service business until his retirement. Seven brothers and two sisters all died previously. Surviving in addition to his wife of 64 years are one daughter Barbara Fescoe of Kingston; four sons Raymond Augustine of Del Ray Beach, Florida, Ronald, Michael and Robert Augustine, all of Kingston; one sister Mary DiNicola of Brooklyn; nine grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Wednesday at 12:00 at the funeral home, Fr. Sergio Millares will officiate. Interment will be in Wiltwyck Cemetery. Contributions in Anthony's memory may be made to the Benedictine Health Foundation, 105 Mary's Ave., Kingston, NY 12401.
