Catherine Lowe of First Ave., Kingston died Friday, January 20, 2012 at Kingston Hospital. She was 92. A native and lifelong Kingston resident, Catherine worked at Fullers, Baltz and Barclays as a seamstress. Catherine loved baking and gardening (especially her roses and tomatoes.) She enjoyed knitting and sewing for her family and friends. Affectionately known as the "little white-haired lady with a bun", Catherine walked daily in her neighborhood. Beloved wife of the late Harold Lowe (who died April 19, 1984); loving mother of June Callahan and her husband Daniel of Cary, NC, Colleen Radel and her husband Raymond of Hurley; grandmother of Robin Payne and Jaime Radel, both of AZ, Mark Radel of Ruby, Jennifer Radel of Maine, Melissa Radel Bailey of Kingston, Randy Radel of West Camp, Susan Kinane, Lisa Bullock, Daniel Callahan and Stacey Ellis all of NC and Billy Kraemer of Kingston; sister of the late Mary Lowe, Leonard, Edward and John Corcoran. Fifteen great grandchildren, her great great granddaughter Hailee Hunt, many nieces and nephews, and dear friends Pam and Bill Leverenz also survive. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, 242 Wall St., Kingston on Monday at 12:00 noon. Interment will follow in Montrepose Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to "St. Joseph's Social Ministry and Food Pantry," POB 410, Hurley, NY 12433 or St. Joseph's School, 242 Wall St., Kingston, NY 12401.
