Celia Jehu

Saugerties- Celia Jehu of East Bridge St. died Tuesday, January 6, 2004 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 84. She was born December 25, 1919 in Poland, a daughter of the late Jacob and Miriam Kagan. A housewife, she resided in Brooklyn prior to moving to Saugerties. Loving mother of Leon Jehu, Roberta Jehu and her husband Geoffrey Hanowitz and the late Ronald Jehu; grandmother of Lisa Ardolina and Sylvie Cherwin. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10:00 am at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. Rabbi Jonathan Kligler will officiate. Burial will be in Montrepose Cemetery.
