Concetta Bracone, 70, passed away surrounded by friends and family on Wednesday, November 20, 2019 at Vassar Brothers Hospital in Poughkeepsie.
Born in New York City, Connie was a daughter of the late Victor and Anna Bracone.
Concetta had a love for life, with a great smile and adoring personality. She had many friends and everyone knew her. Concetta enjoyed all things arts and crafts, shopping, word searches, and being helpful to others. She spent many hours working on gardening, building and making terrariums at her former program at Wall Street in Kingston.
Connie had a great love for her family and enjoyed spending the holidays and visiting with them. She also loved phone calls and visits and would spend hours doing craft projects with her great niece, Samantha. She loved the simple things in life: good food, good friends, and showing love to all who entered her life. Concetta will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
She is survived by her nieces, Maria and Michelle, her nephew, Matthew, their children, Anthony, Justin, and Samantha, as well as her friends and family from the ARC of Mid Hudson.
Concetta was predeceased by both of her parents, as well as by her loving and supportive brother, Emil Bracone.
Connie will be reposing at the Simpson-Hammerl Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave, on Monday, November 25, 2019 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM.
A Funeral Service will be conducted at 11:00 AM at the funeral home with Msgr. Desmond O’Connor from St. Joseph’s Church officiating.
Burial will be in private.
