Coralie B. Kaplan

Coralie B. Kaplan of Skytop Drive, Town of Ulster died June 19, 2009. She was 93. She was born in Kingston on August 15, 1915, a daughter of the late Harris and Lenore Schoenberg Brown. For 22 years Mrs. Kaplan was a social welfare examiner for the Ulster County Department of Social Services. She retired in 1995. She belonged to the Kingston and Benedictine Hospital auxiliaries and was a former member of Temple Emanuel and the Sisterhood. Mrs. Kaplan was an associate member of the Hudson Valley Senior Residence. Her husband Adrian Kaplan died August 20, 1970; her nephew Richard Silberman died previously. Surviving are her daughter Lynda Kaplan at home and her twin sister Phyllis Silberman of Lake Katrine. Graveside services will be conducted on Monday at 12:00 p.m. at Montrepose Cemetery. Rabbi Yael Romer will officiate. Memorial contributions may be made to charity of choice.
