David Swartz

David L. Swartz, Jr., 48, of Kingston, died Thursday, May 21, 2015 at his home. Born in Poughkeepsie, he was the son of the late David L. Swartz, Sr. & Shelby Tedone of Kingston. David enjoyed music, drinking coffee and animals. Most of all he enjoyed spending time with his mother, Shelby and his daughter, Jennifer. In addition to his mother, David is survived by his daughter, Jennifer L. Swartz of Kingston, his brother, Troy Swartz of Kingston, and a sister, Patricia Tinsley of Kingston, his Step-father, Robert Tinsley of Kingston, Many nieces and nephews also survive. In addition to his father, David was predeceased by his wife, Lisa McCaster and his brother, Robert Potter. David will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave, on Tuesday, May 26, 2015 from 5-8 PM. Interment will be private. The family requests that memorial donations be made to The American Diabetes Association, Memorial Processing Center, 149 Madison Ave. 7th Floor, New York, NY 10016.
