Donna R. Twigg

Donna R. Twigg of Skea Road, West Hurley died Thursday, April 3, 2008 at home. She was 77. She was born December 5, 1930 in Flint, MI a daughter of the late Frank and Blanche Gleasure Bylkas. For several years, she was employed in the sales department of Sears. Mrs. Twigg enjoyed traveling, tent camping, gardening, animals and cowboys. Her husband, William C. Twigg Jr. died July 15, 1994. Surviving are two daughters, Judith Quaresimo of Pembroke, MA, Betsy Twigg-Tveit of West Hurley and a son, John R. Twigg of High Falls; a sister, Marguerite Varney of Flint, MI; six grandchildren, Stacy Twigg, Shanna Twigg, Meaghan Harper, Justin Twigg, Jamie Quaresimo and Jody Quaresimo. Four great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. A son, William C. Twigg III and two brothers, Billy Rogers and Clarence Bylkas died previously. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., on Tuesday from 2 - 4 & 7 - 9 pm. Graveside services will be Wednesday, 12:00 noon at Woodstock Cemetery, Woodstock.
