Dorothy E. 'Dottie' Countryman, of Hurley Ave., formerly of Lucas Ave., Cottekill and Millers Lane died Sunday, March 26, 2006 at home. She was 77. She was born October 28, 1928 in Hackensack, NJ a daughter of the late Albert E. and Svea S. Olsen Koechel Sr. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Kingston and a faithful servant of Jesus Christ. A homemaker, she was married to Kenneth Countryman who died June 1, 1989. Loving mother of Susan Haugh and her husband Jim; Beverly Countryman; Robert Countryman and his wife Elizabeth; Cheryl Stacey and her husband Tom; Cynthia Brocco and her husband Ronald; sister of David Koechel, Robert Koechel and the late Albert Koechel Jr. Beloved grandmother of Shane Haugh; Naomi, Jennifer, Stephanie Countryman; Dylan Countryman; Kaitlin, Kellie and Kevin Brocco. Several nieces, nephews and many dear friends and loved ones also survive. Cremation was private. A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, April 30, 2006 at 2:00 pm at the First Baptist Church, 77 Albany Ave., Kingston. Pastor Frank Vernol will officiate. Memorial contributions may be directed to the First Baptist Church, 77 Albany Ave., Kingston, NY 12401 or a charity of one’s choice.
