Dorothy M. Ackerman

Dorothy M. Ackerman of Neighborhood Road, Lake Katrine died Wednesday, February 7, 2007. She was born in Manhattan, the daughter of the late Matthew and Margaret Bierner Schreiner. Her husband, John J. Ackerman died August 24, 2001. Surviving are three daughters, Susan Hansen and her husband Jeffrey; Joanna Campo and her husband, Gary; Lisa Dachenhausen and her husband, Steven; her grandchildren, Elizabeth and Katherine Hansen, Michael Campo, Samantha & Abigail Groppuso and her step-grandchildren, Michael Groppuso Jr. and Patricia McCloskey. Several nieces and nephews also survive. A memorial service will be held March 3, 2007 at 11:00am at the Plattekill Reformed Church in Saugerties.
