Elisabeth Wuttke

Elisabeth Wuttke, 93, formerly of Orlando St., Town of Ulster died Sunday, June 24, 2007 at Golden Hill Health Care Center in Kingston. She was born February 15, 1914 in Schriebendorf, Germany, a daughter of the late Paul and Anna Reisewitz Yenetzky. She immigrated to the U.S. in 1954. For 20 years, she was employed as a housekeeper for Dr. Jacob Moss. She retired in 1977. Mrs. Wuttke was an avid vegetable and flower gardener. Her husband, Herbert Wuttke died October 2, 1994. Surviving are two sons, Erwin Wuttke and his wife Sharon of Town of Ulster and Klaus Wuttke and his wife, Roberta of Lewes, DE. Five grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. A brother, Paul Yenetzky died previously. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Wednesday from 2 - 4 and 7 - 9 pm. Funeral services will be conducted on Thursday at 12:00 noon at the funeral home by Rev. Richard Mueller. Cremation at Wiltwyck Cemetery will be private.
