Elliott Marc Sondak

Elliott Marc Sondak, 60, of Accord, New York died peacefully on Thursday, January 21, 2010 in Albany after a long and valiant battle with cancer. He lived his entire life in Accord where he was self-employed as a builder and contractor. Elliott enjoyed his many friends, sports, the outdoors, and had a passion for motorcycles. In recent years he relished several motorcycle trips in the western U.S. He was born in Ellenville, NY on February 23, 1949 to the late Samuel and Sylvia Sondak. Survivors include his wife, Ann Jacobsen Sondak, and son, Thomas Christopher Wells, currently of Memphis, Tennessee, a sister, Karen Ellen Sondak of University Park, Maryland, and one dear aunt Ruth Fisher of New York City. Funeral services will be conducted on Sunday at 12:00 at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. Rabbinic Assistant Zoe Zak will officiate. Interment will follow in the Kerhonkson - Accord Jewish Farmers Association Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to the Prostate Cancer Foundation, 1250 Fourth St., Santa Monica, CA 90401.
