Elsie Reher

Kingston- Elsie Reher of Broadway died Wednesday, February 11, 2004 at Kingston Hospital. She was 95. For many years she worked at the family business, Reher's Bakery on Broadway. She was a member of Congregation Agudas Achim. A native and lifelong resident of Kingston, she was born Nov. 5, 1908, a daughter of the late Frank and Ada Aduchefsky Reher. Survivors include a brother, Hyman, with whom she resided and several nieces and nephews. Three sisters, Sadie, Gertrude and Molly and a brother, Willie died previously. The funeral will be noon, Friday at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. with Rabbi Y. Yitzchok Hecht of Agudas Achim officiating. Burial will be in the Old Agudas Achim section of Montrepose Cemetery. Memorial services will be conducted on Sunday at 8:15 am and Sunday through Thursday at 6:00 pm at the Reher residence.
