Filomena Buonocore

Filomena Viviani Buonocore, 86, of O'Neil St., Kingston died January 9, 2012 at Kingston Hospital. She was born in Agerola, Napoli, Italy, a daughter of the late Catello and Maria Assunta Casanova Viviani. Formerly of New York City, for many years she worked as a seamstress in the garment industry. A parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, she has lived in this area since 1990. Her husband, Gregorio Buonocore, died February 1, 2011. Two brothers Alex and Giuseppe Viviani both died previously. Surviving are one brother Antonio Viviani of Town of Ulster; many nieces and nephews. Reposing at Simpson Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral procession will form on Thursday at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
