Florette “Sheila” Smith, 87, of Kingston, died Sunday, January 19, 2020.
Born in the Bronx, she was a daughter of the late Max & Elizabeth Heilizer Smith. Known to her family as Bunny, she was a woman who always liked to stay active especially with her hands. She loved music, going out to eat, reading magazines, wearing pretty clothing and jewelry and when she was younger, horseback riding and basketball. She also loved animals, especially her boxer, Rocky.
Sheila is survived by her sister in law, Reva Smith, several nieces, nephews and her many friends at the The Arc Mid-Hudson.
In addition to her parents, Sheila was predeceased by her three brothers, Leonard, Melvin and Raymond Smith.
A Graveside Service will be held on Thursday, January 23, 2020 at 9:30 AM at King David Memorial Gardens in Putnam Valley, NY.
