Frances L. Carpino

Frances L. Carpino, formerly of W. O'Reilly St., Kingston died Sunday, January 2, 2011 at Kingston Hospital. She was 87. She was born in Glasco, a daughter of the late Pasquale "Patsy" and Antoinette Martino Marello. Mrs. Carpino owned Jack's Bar and later owned and operated the Casablanca. Her husband Frank J. Carpino died July 6, 1979; five sisters Mary Colao, Jennie Crocco, Fannie Carpino, Susan and Rose Marello and three brothers Louis, Charles and Michael Marello all died previously. Surviving are three daughters Annette Carpino of Kingston, Carol Carpino of Boca Raton, FL and Paula Miraglia and her husband Robert of Lake Katrine; one brother Frank Marello of Kingston; four grandchildren Antonio Miraglia, Patrick, Brian and Lakin Burke; two great grandchildren Madison and Peyton Burke; many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m The funeral procession will form on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church at 12:00 p.m. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
