Frank Perry

Frank Perry, a longtime Kingston resident, died Saturday, February 9, 2008 in Tucson, AZ. He was 75. He was born in Kingston on September 27, 1932, a son of the late Dominic and Frances Pace Perry. He married Carol Short in 1955. Mr. Perry served in the US Army during the Korean Conflict. He belonged to the American Legion, Veterans of Foreign Wars and Catholic War Veterans. He was a former parishioner of St. Mary's Church and former member of St. Mary's Benevolent Association. For many years he lived on Carl Terrace in Lake Katrine. For 33 years he worked at I.B.M. in Kingston, Colorado and Tucson, AZ.. He was a member of the Quarter Century Club. A resident of Tucson, AZ for over 20 years, Mr. Perry worked for an archery manufacturer, P.S.E. in Tucson for 17 years. Frank was a devoted husband, an amazing father, a wonderful grandpa and a dear friend. Everyone who knew Frank will miss his jokes, his love for life and his kindness to all! Frank thought everything was "Beau-ti-ful." He was always smiling and his "wit" was one of a kind. Five sisters Theresa Parker, Kay Woomack, Louise Leone, Susan McNerlin and Antoinette Perry; and one brother Angelo Perry all died previously. Surviving are his wife of 53 years, Carol Short Perry; two daughters Charlene Robredo and Susan Madison and her husband Mike; two sisters Carmen Callamari of Smithburg, MD and Phyllis Nagy of Town of Ulster; one brother Louis A. Perry of Town of Ulster; three grandchildren Elizabeth and Frank Robredo and Michael Madison; many nieces and nephews. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated at St. Colman's Church, East Kingston on Saturday, March 8th at 12:00 PM. We love Frank and will never forget what a caring and compassionate man he was.
