Geraldine Clark

Geraldine Clark of Stuyvesant Charter Apartments and formerly of Stony Run Apartments died Friday, March 09, 2007 at Ten Broeck Commons Nursing Home. She was 84. She was born on May 29, 1922 in the Bronx, a daughter of the late Walter and Lillyn Hayes. A secretary for many years, she worked at Baerwald and DeBoer on Wall Street before moving to this area. On January 4, 1948 she married Jerome Clark who died June 6, 1986. Surviving are one daughter; Eileen Purvis and her husband John of Kingston, one son; Robert Clark and his wife Lorraine of Edison, New Jersey, five grandchildren; John Purvis, Kerry Schultz, Christopher, Kevin, and Megan Clark and one great granddaughter Ryleigh Purvis. Many nieces and nephews also survive. A sister Lillyn died previously. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Monday 3-7 PM. The funeral will be Tuesday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church, Kingston at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in Hurley Cemetery.
