Glenda C. Taylor of O'Neil St., Kingston died Thursday, December 16, 2010 at Kingston Hospital. She was 73. A native and lifelong Kingston resident, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Beatrice Gray Wentworth. She married Theodore Taylor on June 16, 1973. He died February 14, 1980. For 23 years Glenda worked as a chamber maid for Budget 19, Kingston. An avid BINGO player, she previously worked at Max Ulman Dress Factory and the Imperial 400 Hotel. Loving mother of Holly Effner Robetson of Lake Katrine, James Wentworth of Martinez, GA, Bambi Van Leuven of Kingston, John Bridge of Kingston and Melody Helmich of Saugerties; sister of Robert Wentworth and the late Ivan Wentworth; sister in law of Clara Simmons. 15 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Saturday from 10:00 - 12:00. At noon a Funeral Service will be conducted by Rev. Donald Mapes at Simpson-Gaus.
