Gloria Jean Colvin of Glenerie Blvd., Glenerie died Tuesday, December 26, 2006 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 63.
She was born in Oneonta on June 1, 1943 a daughter of the late Frank and Anna Lindhurst Colvin. A Kingston High School graduate she has lived in Kingston and Saugerties most of her life.
For many years she worked at I.B.M., Kingston and retired in the early 1990's. She then worked at Hannaford for 10 years and most recently at Stewarts and Bank of America.
A member of Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church, she was a member at the former St. Paul's Church.
One brother Andrew Colvin died previously.
Surviving are two daughters Sheila Wilson of Kingston and Samantha Wilson of Lake Katrine; her beloved companion Raymond Marshall; her brother Richard Colvin and his wife Eileen of Kingston; her former husband George Wilson Jr. of Kingston; six grandchildren Danielle Fazio, William Scott, Michelle and Michael McIntyre, Joseph and Gretchen Martino; two great grandchildren Gianna and Angelina Fazio; several nieces and nephews.
Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Friday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Saturday at 11:15 from the funeral home. A Service for the Burial of the Dead will be conducted at Immanuel Evangelical Lutheran Church at 12:00. Rev. Richard Mueller will officiate.
