Goldie Miller, formerly of Allentown, died October 28, 2005 at her daughter’s home in High Falls, NY. She was 97. Born in Lithuania on May 1, 1908, she was a daughter of the late Abraham and Rose Senderowitz. She immigrated to the US as a child and settled in Allentown. A classically trained ballerina, she danced professionally in Allentown and New York City. A designer of recreational apparel in Allentown, Mrs. Miller was a violinist, knitter and equestrian. She volunteered at Cedar Crest Hospital in Allentown. Mrs. Miller moved to this area in 1996 to live with her daughter. Her husband Earl Aron Miller, brothers Morris, Joseph, Ruby, and Stephen and sisters Anna and Gertrude all died previously. Surviving are her daughter Jone Miller and her husband Steven Schoen of High Falls, her son Gary Miller and his wife Melody of Plano, TX; two grandchildren Danyielle and Rachel Miller; and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be conducted on Sunday at 1:00 PM at Congregation Sons of Israel Cemetery, Allentown, PA. ................................ you, a butterfly, rare in spirit, emerged from your chrysalis, adorned in a host of colors yet to be viewed by the artist's eye and committed to canvas. you who flew with wings stretched across the sky, danced on the wind's current and into my heart, where you are forever safe, forever loved. you, dear mother, i am a part of you. you, a fearless warrior, who went out to explore the world and lived its many lives. you, dear mother, filled with the elixir of love and compassion, touched other's by extending your heart, your hand and embrace. fly, mother dear. fly, soar, dance. the wind, and its sister breeze, will carry you to us on rainbow colored wings, saturated with the passion of purple, turquoise, sunset gold.... and we will all dance like the wind, call out your name, and remember. love to you, for you, forever, always, jone , gary and steven
