Helen Rose Serinsky, 92, of Hurley NY, passed away on Sunday, April 24th of 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Born in Belmont Mississippi. She was the daughter of the late Roy Campbell & Connie Ligon.
Helen met and married Norman Serinsky in Russellville Alabama in 1954. They moved to Kingston, New York and started Expert Awning & Drapery Company. They grew the business and welcomed three children……. Sandy, Scott, and Craig.
She enjoyed antiquing and going to auctions and estate sales.
She was passionately involved in the local Temple Emmanuels B’nai Brith and charities, such as the Heart Association and the YMCA.
She loved golf and Wiltwyck Country Club. She participated on the board and a lot of other committees. She lived life to the fullest and was proudest of raising her three children.
Helen is survived by Sandra Serinsky, of Kingston, Scott Serinsky and his wife Melissa, of Hurley NY and S. Craig Serinsky, of Palm City, FL. As well as her two grandchildren, Norman, and Lauren Serinsky.
Helen is predeceased by her loving husband Norman, who passed away in 1992.
A private funeral service was held for Helen's family.
