Henry George Krasnoff

April 27, 1918 — February 16, 2005

Walker Valley- Henry George Krasnoff of State Route 52 died Wednesday, February 16, 2005 at Golden Hill Health Care Center in Kingston. He was 86. He was born April 27, 1918 in Brooklyn, the son of the late Phillip and Mary Stacharska Krasnoff. Mr. Krasnoff served in the navy as a Seabee during WW II in the Asia-Pacific Theater. He was a member of American Legion Post 1308, Pine Bush and a life member of the Navy Seabee Veterans of America. He was employed as a repairman for a steam and iron company in Manhattan. He enoyed dances and music at the White Eagle in Kingston. He is survived by his wife, Matilda Kuchma Krasnoff, his son, Mitchell of Ferndale and his daughter, Barbara Ann Di Cintio of Levittown. A grandson, Lee Evan Di Cintio also survives. A memorial service will be held on Saturday at 2:00 pm at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. Fr. Sergion Millares will officiate. Inurnment will take place in Calverton National Cemetery at a later date.
