Irwin Solomon

Irwin Solomon of Washington Avenue, Kingston, died Friday May 21, 2010 at Kingston Hospital. He was 77. He was born in Bronx, NY a son of the late Morris and Anna Bergman Solomon. Formally of Wassaic, NY, since 1995, Irwin has resided at ARC's Pidone House. He attended Day Hab Services at Ulster Greene ARC's Pecora Center for many years. Irwin had a cousin, the late Norman Zwetchenbaum, whom he visited. Survivors include his Brother, Stanley Solomon and his wife Ellen of Chestnut Ridge, NY., one nephew Michael Solomon and one niece Alison Joachim and many cousins and dear friends at Ulster Greene ARC. Family and friends will gather at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Tuesday from 9 a.m-10 a.m. Funeral services will begin at 10 a.m., officiated by Cantor Bob Cohen. Interment will follow in Paramus, NJ at Beth El Cemetery.
