Isabelle R. Denune

Isabelle R. Denune, of Tall Oaks Drive, Kingston and formerly of Columbus, OH and Bradenton, FL died Tuesday, April 3, 2007 at Ferncliff Nursing Home in Rhinebeck. She was 79. She was born June 30, 1927 in Columbus, OH a daughter of the late Nathan and Rose Ray Jenkins. For many years, she was an operator for Bell Telephone in Columbus and also worked as ar receptionist for Channel 6, an ABC affiliate in Columbus. She was a Girl Scout leader and enjoyed singing. She is survived by her husband, Robert P. Denune, her daughter, Anne Cohen of Kingston, her son, Lane Denune and his wife Kim of Columbus, OH and a sister, Faye. Six grandchildren, four great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. A son, Ivan Denune and six brothers and sisters died previously. Cremation was private at Wiltwyck Cemetery. A memorial service will be held at a later date in Bradenton, FL.
