J. Christopher Perry of Hurley Ave., Kingston died Friday, April 6, 2012 at his home. He was 55. A native and lifelong Kingston resident, he was a son of the late Christopher J. and Jacqueline Maisenhelder Perry, Jr. He attended Ulster Community College and currently worked at Wal-Mart. Chris was an avid baseball and football fan. Brother of Linda Ruella and her husband Michael of Red Hook, Janice Dellay and her husband John of Kingston, and Alison Fischer and her husband, the late Steven Fischer of Kingston; beloved uncle of Jeremy Pugliese, Danielle Ruella, Michael C. Ruella and his wife Christina, Bethany Dellay and Steven C. Fischer. Two aunts and several cousins also survive. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral procession will form on Thursday at 11:00 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Mary's Church at 12:00 PM. Inurnment in St. Mary's Cemetery will be private. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society, 6725 Lyons St., East Syracuse, NY 13057 or the Scleroderma Foundation, 300 Redwood Dr., Suite 105, Danvers, MA 01923.
