James H. O'Dell Sr.

James H. O'Dell, Sr. of Franklin St., Kingston died Wednesday, July 26, 2011 at Kingston Hospital. He was 76. He was born in Wingdale, NY, a son of the late Richard and Lillian Brian O'Dell. Mr. O'Dell served in the U.S. Air Force and worked as a painting contractor. Surviving is his son, James and his wife Valerie of Rotterdam, NY and his daughter, Minnie McEleney and her husband Neil of Patterson, NY; two brothers, Stanley O'Dell of Wingdale, NY, Tommy O'Dell of Florida and two sisters, Lillian Moore of Ancram and Frances Ayotte. Eight grandchildren also survive. Two brothers, Harold and Billy O'Dell died previously. Cremation was private at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
