Janice M. FitzGerald

Janice M. FitzGerald of Kingston, died Saturday, June 18, 2016, at her home. Born in Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Chester & Catherine Doyle Hendricksen. Janice was wonderful wife, mother and grandmother who enjoyed knitting, crocheting, crossword puzzles and playing bridge with the girls. Mostly she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. Janice is survived by her husband of 56 years, Gerald E. FitzGerald of Kingston, whom she married on September 26, 1959, two sons, Gerald (Jay) FitzGerald and his wife Susan of Queensbury, NY and James A. FitzGerald and his wife Jaimy George of Naples, FL, four grandchildren, Caitlin and her husband Jon, Ryan, Nathan and Asha. In addition to her parents, Janice was predeceased by a daughter, Jill E. FitzGerald, who passed in 2011. Janice will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Tuesday, June 21, 2016 from 5-8 PM. The funeral procession will form from the funeral home on Wednesday at 9:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Colman's Church. Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery.
