Joanne Maria Castiglione

Joanne Maria Castiglione of Lawrenceville St., Kingston died Friday, October 21, 2011 at Mountain View Nursing Center. She was 68. She was born in Kingston, a daughter of the late Frank R. and Maria "Mary" Gulisano Castiglione Sr. Joanne previously owned "2 J's" restaurant, Fair St., Kingston and also catered and waitressed. A parishioner of St. Joseph's Church, Joanne belonged to the St. Joseph's Prayer Group and St. John the Evangelist Prayer Group. Beloved sister Frank Castiglione Jr. of Chandler, AZ, Nancy Castiglione of Kingston, Connie Modeen of Palm Bay, FL and the late Fred Castiglione and Vincent Castiglione, dear friend of Jean VanAmburgh and Msgr. William Williams. Joanne's many nieces and nephews were like her children. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Sunday from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral procession will form at the funeral home on Monday at 9:15 AM. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph's Church at 10:00 AM. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery. Contributions, to offset Joanne's final expenses, can me made to the family.
