John J. Greco

John J. "Jack" Greco of Kings Highway, died Sunday, January 27, 2013 at Kingston Hospital. He was born in Glasco, a son of the late Domenico and Josephine Qualtere Greco. John married Virginia P. Layman on October 17, 1953. John previously worked in the family business at the former Mt. Marion Inn. For many years John then co-owned, with his brothers, Greco Brothers Amusement Co. in Glasco. A 4th Degree member of the Saugerties Knights of Columbus, John co-owned several harness race horses with his brothers. He was an avid poker player. Loving husband of Virginia P. Greco; father of John J. Greco and his wife Lisa of Saugerties, and Jeanine M. Greco of Mt. Marion; grandfather of Katharine and Jaclyn Greco; brother of the late Frank, Thomas and Joseph Greco, Mary Pulverenti and Louise Ferraro. Private entombment was in Wiltwyck Community Mausoleum.
