Julia J. Carpino

Julia J. Carpino of Washington Ave., Kingston died Sunday, July 12, 2009 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 86. A native and lifelong Kingston resident, she was born November 3, 1922, a daughter of the late Joseph and Mary Petramale Guadagnolo. She married James J. Carpino on April 21, 1947. Her son James Richard Carpino died April 30, 1991; one sister Evelyn Esposito died January 20, 2007. Surviving are her husband of 62 years, James J. Carpino; one daughter Diana LaFave and her husband Joe of Millsboro, Delaware; one sister Virginia Mancuso of Kingston; many nieces and nephews. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wednesday 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. The funeral procession will form on Thursday at 9:15 a.m. from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 at St. Joseph's Church. Interment will follow in Wiltwyck Cemetery.
