Katherine Vladich

Lake Katrine- Katherine Vladich of Ulster Avenue died Tuesday, January 11, 2005 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 92. She was born January 19, 1912 in Bradley, OH a daughter of the late James and Angelina Volpe Sbroglia. For many years, she owned and operated the N-V Motel in the Town of Ulster. During the World War II, she worked in defense plants. She was a former member of the Catholic Daughters of the Americas, Court Santa Maria. She was the wife of the late Nickola Vladich who died January 15, 1971. Surviving is her son, Nicholas A. Vladich of Lake Katrine, two brothers, Marion J. Del Cotto and Leo Sbroglia and seven sisters, Margaret Dickerson, Rose Imperiale, Mary Host, Theresa Petulis, Maud Salciccioli, Ann Sawastuk and Helen Sobole. Seven grandchildren and many great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews also survive. A daughter, Danica Vladich Goldleaf died previously. Friends will be received at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:30 am until 12:00 noon. Funeral services and burial will be private.
