Lee Beadle

February 4, 1914 — May 7, 2007

Lee Beadle of Neighborhood Road, Lake Katrine died Monday, May 7, 2007 at his home. He was 93. He was born in Boiceville on February 4, 1914, a son of the late Edward and Delilah Beesmer Beadle. A US Army veteran of WW II, Mr. Beadle served in Europe and was awarded a Purple Heart. For over 40 years he was a head roofer at Smith & Parish Roofing, formerly of Kingston. His first wife Addie Lane Beadle died in 1971. Two sons Alfred and Ronald Beadle both died previously. He was predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Surviving are his wife of 20 years, Phyllis Langon Beadle; one daughter Patricia Douglas of Kingston, one son Robert Beadle of North Carolina; one niece Nellie Nichols of Kingston, 19 grandchidren, 22 great grandchildren and 14 great great grandchildren. Reposing at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Wedesday from 5:00 PM. A funeral service will be conducted Rev. Darlene Kelley on Wednesday at 6:30 at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, Kingston.
