Lena Secreto Pino

Lena Pino, of Kalina Drive died Saturday, September 04, 2004 at the Golden Hill Health Care Center. She was 89. She was born in Kingston on All Saints Day, November 1, 1914, a daughter of the late Anthony and Rose Marie Supato Secreto. Formerly of Roosevelt Avenue, Kingston, Mrs. Pino worked for many years as a seamstress in Kingston area garment factories. She was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church. Mrs Pino moved to Kalina Drive, Saugerties in 1960. She worked at Rotron for several years and was a member of the A.A.R.P. Her husband Anthony J. Pino died on March 27, 1972. Five brothers Charles, Victor, Alfred, Peter L. and Frank Secreto, and three sisters Helen Center, Laura Crespino and Emma Aggulewicz all died previously. Most trusted and loyal companion of Joseph Torrisi; loving mother of Joseph Pino and his wife Patricia, Robert Pino and his wife Linda; sister of Harry Secreto of Kingston; grandmother of Joey and Richard Pino; great grandmother of Jonathan Pino. Many nieces and nephews also survive. Reposing at Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Wednesday at 9:15 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Joseph’s Church, Kingston at 10:00 AM. Interment in St. Mary’s Cemetery.
