Leslie C. Miller

Leslie C. Miller of Hone St. died Tuesday, August 11, 2009 at Benedictine Hospital. She was 54. She was born November 2, 1954 in Independence, IA the daughter of the late Glenn and Helen Campbell Miller. Leslie attended and graduated with a Bachelor of Fine Arts from Drake University in Des Moines, IA For many years, she had a porcelain business, selling her designs across the country. She also worked for many years with the local developmentally disabled for Ulster-Greene ARC and Academy Green. Leslie leaves behind her significant other, Todd Samara and two very close friends as well as a brother David. Cremation was private at Poughkeepsie Rural Cemetery.
