Lester Jansen

Lester Jansen of Margaretville, died Thursday, June 14, 2007 at the Mountainside Residential Care Center. He was 68. He was born in Kingston on July 24, 1938, a son of the late Andrew E. and Mary Amarello Jansen. A longtime Kingston resident, Mr. Jansen was a carpenter. Surviving are his daughter Melissa Jansen, one brother Michael Jansen of Syracuse, two sisters Margaret Jansen of Maine and Jacqueline Banks of Kingston; his former wife Dolores Hasbrouck of the Town of Ulster, many nieces and nephews. One brother William Jansen and one step sister Rose Harvey died previously. A funeral service will be conducted on Thursday at 11:00 AM, Deacon Jack Peters will officiate.
