Lillian Russell Warrington

Lillian Russell Warrington of Merritt Ave., Kingston died Saturday, November 8, 2008 at Kingston Hospital. She was 100. She was born in Woodstock on February 19, 1908, a daughter of the late Lewis and Catherine Myers Hommel. Formerly of Derby, CT and Shelton, CT. Mrs. Warrington returned to this area in the 1940's. She was employed by The State of NY National Bank and The Banker's Trust for 18 years. Mrs. Warrington was the bank manager until her retirement in 1973. She belonged to Redeember Evangelical Lutheran Church. Her husband Arthur A. Warrington died February 29, 2005; her son Percy Russell died February 16, 2006; her sister Irene Kellerhouse died previously. She is survived by family and friends and her feline companion, Mattie. Reposing at Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Tuesday 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. A funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. Interment will be in Woodstock Cemetery.
