Linda Mitchell

Linda Mitchell of Butternut Knolls died Tuesday, May 19, 2009 at home. She was 52. She was born July 23, 1956 in Brooklyn, the daughter of Silvia Tomasello Stanganelli and the late Lucian Stanganelli. For several years, she was employed as a secretary in the legal profession in Queens. Linda enjoyed reading, shopping, and attending concerts. She was a friend of Bill W. Surviving, in addition to her mother of West Shokan, is her husband, Sam Mitchell, Jr., her daughter, Alyxandra Mitchell and her fiance Shawn Sevin and a step-son, Sam Mitchell III of Kentucky. A step-granddaughter, Tori Mitchell also survives. Another sister and many nieces and nephews also survive. A brother, John Stanganelli died previously. Reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston on Friday from 2 4 & 7 9 PM. A candlelight service will be held at 8:15 PM at the funeral home.
