Louise A. Ferraro

Louise A. Ferraro of Old Kings Highway, died Wednesday, October 22, 2003 at Golden Hill Health Care Facility. She was 87. She was born in Glasco on October 23, 1915, a daughter of the late Dominic and Josephine Qualtere Greco. For 18 years Mrs. Greco co-owned and operated with her husband the Vinnie-Lu Dress Factory in Glasco. She also co-owned and operated, with her husband, the Plaza Hairstylist in Barclay Heights for 15 years. Mrs. Ferraro also co-owned pharmacies in Barclay Heights and on Route 28. A lifelong area resident, Mrs. Ferraro was a parishioner of St. Joseph’s Church, Glasco. Her beloved husband Vincent E. Ferraro died September 19, 1995. Three brothers Frank, Thomas and Joseph Greco all died previously. Surviving are one sister Mary Pulverenti of Mt. Marion, one brother John Greco of Mt. Marion, many nieces and nephews. Reposing at Simpson – Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. on Saturday 7-9 and Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 PM. The funeral will be Monday at 9:00 AM from the funeral home. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 at St. Joseph’s Church, Glasco. Interement in St. Mary of the Snow Cemetery.
