Margaret "Peggy" Perry

Margaret "Peggy" Perry, 93, a life long resident of Kingston, went to be with the Lord on December 30, 2018 surrounded by family at Health Alliance Hospital Broadway Campus.
All who knew Peggy, knew of her great faith, which she loved to share. She was an original member of The Divine Mercy Perpetual Adoration Chapel in Kingston,
a Eucharistic Minister and a parishioner of St. Joseph's Church for over 60 years.
She cared for family and friends and nourished people around her with love, faith and food. Known for her cooking and baking skills, she was always willing to share her culinary gift with anyone who asked how to make her specialties. Peggy also worked for several years at her family's restaurant, The Capri 400.
Born in East Kingston, she was the daughter of the late Paul and Frances Saccoman Carpino.
Peggy is survived by two daughters, Sharon Perry Nerone of Fort Mills, SC and Francine Perry Burlingham, Kingston, Son-in-law Ronald Burlingham, sister
Rose (Michael) Mazzuca, sisters-in-law Anne(Anthony)Greco and Susie (Albert) Carpino. Grandchildren, Robert J. Nerone, wife LeAnn, Matthew P. Burlingham and Tyler J. Burlingham, great-grandaughter Shana M. Nerone and several nieces and nephews.
Peggy was predeceased by her husband John Perry, siblings Frank, Thomas, Ralph, Anthony, and Albert Carpino another brother passed in infancy. Sisters Catherine Costello, Jane Prusak, Lillian Carpino and Josie Gilyardi.
Peg will be reposing at the Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. Kingston, Thursday, January 3, 2019, from 2-6 PM.
The funeral procession will form from the funeral home on Friday at 9:00 AM.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM at St. Joseph's Church, Kingston.
Interment will follow at St. Mary's Cemetery.
