Marino Lopez

Marino Lopez, of Canal Street, Ellenville, died Thursday, March 17, 2005 in Kerhonkson. He was 66. Born in Pereira, Colombia on October 17, 1938, he was the son of the late Jesus and Maria Lopez. For many years Mr. Lopez was a pharmacist in Colombia. He immigrated to this country in 1999 and settled in Ellenville. For five years he was employed at the Pinegrove Dude Ranch Resort, Kerhonkson. He recently worked at the Nevele Grand Resort and Country Club, Ellenville. Surviving are his wife Diomeda Henao of Columbia; four sons Jorge Lopez of Kerhonkson, Libaniel Lopez of Napanoch, Geovanny Lopez and Julio Cesar Lopez, both of Colombia; two daughters Maria Eugenia Lopez and Olga Lucia Lopez, both of Colombia; and 6 grandchildren. There will be a wake at Saint Mary & Saint Andrew's Parish, Ellenville on Monday at 10:00 AM. A Funeral Mass will then be celebrated by Father Robert Hickey at 11:00 AM. Inurnment will be in Colombia at a later date.
