Matilda M. Krasnoff

Matilda M. Krasnoff, formerly of Walker Valley died Saturday, March 21, 2009 at Kingston Hospital. She was 88. She was born May 7, 1920 in Brooklyn, a daughter of the late John and Elizabeth Matey Kuchma. For many years she was employed as a clerk by AT&T. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers, Walker Valley Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and a volunteer for the Office For Ageing through the RSVP Program. Her husband, Henry G. Krasnoff died February 16, 2005. Surviving are her daughter, Barbara Ann Di Cintio of Levittown and her son, Mitchell Krasnoff of Ferndale, a brother, John Kuchma of Jim Thorpe, PA and a sister, Terry Harrison of South Carolina. One grandson, Lee Evan Di Cintio and several nieces and nephews also survive. Cremation was private. Inurnment will take place in Long Island National Cemetery at a later date.
