Mildred G. Flender

Mildred G. Flender of Lucas Ave. Ext., Hurley died Wednesday, November 19, 2008 at home. She was 92. She was born March 19, 1916 in New York City, the daughter of the late Myron and Fannie Aschner Goldman. Mrs. Flender attended Hunter College and had been employed as a bridal buyer for the Betty Cohn Agency in New York. Her husband, Murray Flender died January 11, 2004. Surviving are her brother, Henry "Hank" Goldman of West Hempstead and many loving nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and cousins. A brother, Morton Goldman died previously. Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, 11:30 AM at Simpson-Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave., Kingston. Cantor Robert Cohen will officiate.
