Peggy Shultis

Peggy Shultis of O'Neil Street, Kingston died Wednesday, February 22, 2006 at Kingston Hospital. She was 55. Born in Brooklyn on December 31, 1950, she was a daughter of Selma Ruderman Boris and the late Samuel Boris. An area resident for most of her life, she was a bookkeeper at Unity Creations in Saugerties. Surviving, in addition to her mother of Kingston, are her husband Leslie Shultis; one daughter Lesley Ryckman and her husband Daniel of Mt. Pleasant, MI, one son Jason Shultis of Kingston, two stepdaughters Lesley Naccarato of Florida and Francis Flouish of Gardiner; two stepsons Jay Shultis of Mt. Marion and Jamie Shultis of Sawkill; one sister Jill Boris of Kingston, four grandchildren Cassandra and Alexis Shultis, Dylan and Rylei Ryckman, several step grandchildren, several great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. There will be calling hours on Thursday from 6-8 PM at the Simpson - Gaus Funeral Home, 411 Albany Ave. A funeral service will be conducted on Friday at 12:00 PM at the funeral home, Rabbi Yael Romer will officiate. The family will observe shiva on Saturday evening at 7:30 pm at 100 Lipton St. in Kingston. Contributions in Peggy's memory may be directed to a charity of one's choice.
